Transition Resources Corporation (TRC) | Indiana | Early Childhood & Family Support | Head Start (telamon.org) Head Start provides services for children ages 3-5, Early Head Start services pregnant women and children ages 0-3. Foster children and homeless children qualify. Disability and special health needs services are provided. Early Head Start and Head Start is a no cost federally funded comprehensive early childhood program serving children birth through 5 years and their families. To qualify for Head Start/Early Head Start services, families must meet Federal guidelines. Those families receiving TANF or SSI also meet eligibility guidelines.
